Nature of the service
Tremor is an analytical and informational service. It publishes probabilistic outlooks derived from public data. It is not an emergency service, an early-warning system, or a substitute for official guidance from any government agency. Nothing on Tremor should be relied upon to make life-safety decisions.
No guarantees
Probabilities are estimates that may be wrong. Tremor makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any signal, cluster, prediction or brief, and disclaims liability for decisions taken on the basis of them to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Not financial advice
Economic stress indicators and any outlook touching markets are published for informational purposes only and are not investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to transact in any security.
Acceptable use
You may read, cite and share Tremor content with attribution. You may not scrape at a rate that degrades the service, resell access, or present Tremor output as an official warning from any authority.
Third-party data
Tremor incorporates data from USGS, NOAA, NASA, GDELT and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis under their respective licences. Those providers do not endorse Tremor. Attribution and licence terms for each source are listed on the Sources page.
Subscriptions
Paid plans renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current period. Access to the public ledger and accuracy scorecard is never paywalled.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be noted in the Daily Brief. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
